The Role

We are looking for a Front of House Assistant to join our Catering team at our Sobha Realty Training Centre. We are looking for someone with a passion for food, who has a positive attitude and thrives in a team environment.

You will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient front-of-house service and ensuring smooth service and upholding high standards of hygiene and professionalism at all times.

Please note: this role will involve working flexible hours, including weekday evenings and weekends.

Your day-to-day
  • Deliver excellent customer service – you will serve food and drink while providing excellent customer service to staff, players and visitors.
  • Lead by example – you will communicate clearly and professionally with all customers, upholding club policies at all times, especially health and safety, food hygiene and safety procedures, and safeguarding.
  • Support on stock management – you'll support the team in restocking front-of-house areas and ensure cleanliness throughout service.
  • Maintain safety and compliance – you will ensure the safety of others is considered and confidentiality is maintained at all times when work is being undertaken, ensuring compliance with nutrition and sanitation regulations and all industry hygiene and safety standards.
  • Support the Front-of-House and catering team – you'll show flexibility and a positive, can‑do attitude throughout to help out in other areas where required.

  • Proven experience in a similar catering environment – you have experience in a customer‑facing or food service role.
  • Communication skills – you are a confident, clear communicator with a positive team‑player attitude.
  • Adaptable and organised mindset – you thrive under pressure and are able to effectively adapt to change and prioritise workloads accordingly.
  • Flexibility – you have availability to work weekdays and/or weekends, early mornings and bank holidays.
