Overview

Forklift Service EngineerStourbridge

Salary: Up to GBP43,680 base salary (dependent on experience) + door-to-door travel + company van + overtime paid at 1.33x. Overtime typically 2–6 hours per week.

Hours: 40 hours per week, standard hours 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility available).

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned servicing, examinations, diagnostics and repairs on forklifts at customer sites.
  • Work with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform diagnostics and fault finding on forklift trucks.
  • Complete company documentation accurately.
  • Occasional stay-away from home (approx. 1x per month) or option to travel back and earn overtime.
  • Support activities in the Stourbridge workshop as needed, with the primary focus on field-based work.

  • Proactive with good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
