Job summary

A leading provider of luxury elderly care homes is seeking a warm and dedicated Food and Beverage Team Member to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. The ideal candidate should demonstrate high standards of hygiene and commitment to excellent culinary service. Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable. A DBS check will be required.

Main duties of the job

As a Food and Beverage Team Member, your focus will be to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. This will involve supporting residents with choosing their meal options, ensuring dining tables are set to standard, keeping the front of house clean and tidy, and replenishing fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger food, and fresh fruit options throughout the day. You will also need to be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

About the role

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assist residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
  • Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
  • Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well‑presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
  • Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
  • Being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

Qualifications
