Overview

Branta Recruitment is seeking an FM Contracts Manager with electrical bias to join a large reputable FM company and their regional facilities management team. This is a pivotal role providing technical leadership, operational support, and compliance oversight across a portfolio of key commercial sites. You will work closely with engineers, administration teams, and senior management to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in line with regulatory and client requirements. Acting as both a mentor and technical expert, you will be a key point of escalation for field engineers and a driver of best practice in engineering and customer care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers in the field (phone and site-based).
  • Act as a link between the admin team, management, and engineers to ensure clear communication and information flow.
  • Monitor engineering performance, promoting best practice in health & safety, compliance, and customer service.
  • Review and approve engineer documentation, risk assessments, and method statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
What We're Looking For
  • Time-served Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds) with a strong understanding of building services.
  • Experience in technical leadership or supervisory/managerial capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and influence teams.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Full UK driving licence.
