Overview

Flood Risk Consultant – Bristol. £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits. We're working with a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing Bristol team.

Responsibilities
  • Producing and advising on flood risk and sustainable drainage strategies for planning applications
  • Supporting the design team and working closely with the Flood Risk Team Lead
  • Preparing reports and strategies across a variety of development and regeneration projects
  • Contributing to SuDS design and integration within private sector developments
  • Using tools such as GIS and AutoCAD to support project delivery
What we\'re looking for
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related field
  • 1-3 years\' post-graduate experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of SuDS standards and UK planning processes
  • Experience or a genuine interest in flood risk and sustainable drainage strategies
  • Proficiency in relevant software (GIS, AutoCAD)
