Are you an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer looking to join a reputable business with long-term opportunities and a strong pipeline of work? Our client is seeking a skilled engineer to carry out servicing, inspections, and remedial works across a range of fire protection systems within commercial and residential environments.

The Role

You will be responsible for the servicing, testing, and repair of:

  • Commercial & Residential Sprinkler Systems
  • Fire Hydrants & Fire Hose Reels
  • Dry/Wet Risers
  • Domestic & Commercial Fire Sprinkler Systems (BS9251)

Key duties include:

  • Carrying out servicing and remedial works in line with the latest British and EN standards
  • Conducting inspections, testing, and system assessments
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and repairing system faults
  • Providing technical information for upgrade or modification quotations
  • Surveying sites for remedial works
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and design layouts
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry, manufacturer, and safety regulations
Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar fire protection service role
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including BS9251
  • Ability to carry out system changeovers and work across multiple sites
  • Competent working with fire alarms and all types of commercial sprinkler systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in fire protection (preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Specialist tools provided
