Responsibilities
  • Prepare fire strategies for a wide range of buildings using ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, HTM Guidance, BB100 and other documents.
  • Lead technical projects and act as the primary expert for clients.
  • Manage medium‑to‑large projects, including fee proposals and invoicing.
  • Coordinate discussions with design teams, building control, and fire services.
  • Attend industry conferences to network and stay abreast of best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ideally working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Ability to undertake work independently and take ownership of projects.
