Are you a commercially focused, hands-on Finance Director with a passion for value creation and business transformation?

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a Kent based healthcare business, a £40m turnover, fast-growing subsidiary of a private equity–backed healthcare group. As Finance Director, you will:

  • Lead Finance Team with energy, integrity, and accountability
  • Drive all aspects of financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and controls
  • Champion performance across key financial metrics including cash generation, profitability, and working capital optimisation
  • Partner with senior leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Deliver robust financial planning, insight and challenge in a fast-paced, change-driven environment
  • Support and lead system and process improvements to enable scalable, sustainable growth
  • Ensure full compliance with governance, risk, audit and statutory frameworks

You’ll be both strategic and hands-on, with the credibility to influence the board and the capability to improve processes on the ground.

We are looking for:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Senior finance leadership experience in a high-growth, commercially driven environment
  • Strong grasp of cash management, controls, planning, and reporting
  • Proven success in leading finance teams and delivering business transformation
  • Commercially sharp with the ability to translate numbers into action
  • A proactive problem solver, comfortable operating with pace and ambiguity
  • Experience in private equity-backed businesses or healthcare (desirable, not essential)
