A government regulatory body is seeking Financial Analysts to join their Financial Assessment Team. The roles are full-time and remote, paying £32.74 PAYE or £37.65 Umbrella per hour, starting from February 2, 2026. Candidates should hold accountancy qualifications and possess experience in financial analysis. Responsibilities include conducting financial assessments and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clarity in financial regulation. Ideal for those with accountancy and audit experience, especially in the Higher Education Sector.
I am working with an Independent Regulator who are looking for a number of Financial Analysts to join their busy Financial Assessment Team.
The roles are full time (37 hours per week), to start on the 2nd February 2026 and will run for 4 months initially.
The roles can be worked fully remote and are paying 32.74 PAYE per hour including holiday pay or 37.65 Umbrella per hour (inside IR35).
The role is based in the Regulation directorate.
The purpose of the role is to undertake financial assessments as set out in the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 (HERA) and in the organisation's regulatory framework.
These roles would ideally suit someone with both Accountancy and Audit experience and it would be an added bonus if you had experience working in the Higher Education Sector.
Please only apply for these roles if you are a qualified accountant (as mentioned above) and are available to start work on the 2nd February 2026.
Interviews will be held virtually in early January 2026.
Thank you
Charlotte
