Job description

Role

In this position, you will work closely within the Finance team to own balance sheet reconciliations, support month-end processes, and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits
• Perform bank reconciliations and cashflow matching (Kyriba)
• Complete intercompany cash-pooling reconciliations and invoice processing
• Oversee month-end activities in Oracle and prepare key journals
• Manage Concur expense reviews and liaise with internal teams
• Provide cover for Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable as required
• Support VAT returns, corporate tax tasks, and inventory counts
• Monitor and reconcile suspense accounts

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Confident with reconciliations, month-end close, and financial compliance
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience with Oracle EBS, Excel, Kyriba, or cash pooling is advantageous
