So what's your next change? The Accounting & Tax Finance Transformation department is looking for a motivated and ambitious Finance Transformation Project Manager to join the team within the newly established Finance Transformation Integrated Functions organization, for a position in Filton. This is an exciting opportunity to reinforce our cross-divisional coordination activities across all Finance Transformation topics. You will gain hands-on experience in driving strategic initiatives across the five pillars of transformation: Data, Digital, Process, Governance, and People.
You will contribute to delivering efficient, reliable, and compliant finance systems and processes, supporting our ambition for growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and implementation of financial data models to drive continuous improvements, ensuring application of group compliance rules.
- Frame Finance requirements and provide functional inputs, organize test phases, define migration strategy, ensure user training and adoption.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on self-service platforms (e.g., Skywise, Qliksense).
- Collaborate with internal customer stakeholder teams and other functions to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Project Lifecycle Management: contribute to and eventually lead aspects of transformation projects from initiation to closure.
- Project contribution: manage projects or work packages, support transitions between phases, and mitigate process requirements and risks.
- Planning and resource support: develop project management plans, baselines, milestones, and deliverables; manage project team organization; coordinate with Divisional and Group levels.
- Change Management: apply change management methodologies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, and risk identification.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and/or tax concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive and growth-oriented mindset with willingness to take on new responsibilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in project support or management roles, with a focus on finance or accounting initiatives within a professional setting.
- Familiarity with major financial systems (e.g., SAP ERP) or BI platforms (e.g., Skywise, Qliksense) is advantageous.
- Experience with business process analysis or supporting change initiatives.
