A healthcare organization in York is seeking a Finance Accounting Manager to oversee a team of 4 and manage cash and banking transactions. The successful applicant will post financial journals to Oracle, reconcile Balance Sheet control accounts monthly, and interact with external auditors. The main purpose of this role is to manage the Finance Accounting Team, which looks after the Trust's cash and banking systems. This is a vital role within the Trust as it manages the cash and banking transactions on a daily basis, making sure that the Trust holds adequate funds to pay salaries and suppliers on time. The successful applicant will manage a team of 4, manage the cash and banking transactions and post the relevant financial journals to Oracle which the Trust uses as its main financial system. The role will also involve reconciling the Balance Sheet control accounts on a monthly basis, and be responsible for signing these off. The role will also involve meeting with external auditors and supplying them with the information as per a request for the Trust cash transactions.
