Overview

Wirral Borough Council is seeking a Finance Business Partner to deliver innovative, solution-focused financial management that drives value for money and supports long-term sustainability for Adults and Children's Services.

Key Duties Of The Role
  • Partner with Adults and Children's directorates to provide expert financial advice
  • Develop financial strategies aligned with service objectives
  • Produce accurate reports, forecasts, and budgets
  • Analyse performance and identify risks and opportunities
  • Support business cases and financial modelling for key initiatives; influence decision-making and drive financial best practices
About The Candidate

You will hold a recognised professional accounting qualification/part qualification (e.g. CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices and the ability to articulate and build effective relationships at different operational levels.
