Overview

Finance Business Partner — Ipswich. 3 days in the office. £43,000 - £48,000. Full-time.


We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our central finance team in Ipswich. This is a great opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) ACCA/CIMA professional to make an impact in a busy, people-focused organisation.


Responsibilities


  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and divisional reporting including KPIs.

  • Manage the month-end timetable, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and deliver budgets and forecasts in partnership with Operational Heads.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, monitor performance, highlight risks, and support with mitigation strategies.

  • Provide commercial and strategic input across the business, including financial support on bids, pricing, investment appraisals, and contract mobilisations or demobilisations.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensure compliance and accuracy, and support the Senior Finance Business Partner and operational teams with ad hoc requests.


About You


  • Qualified or finalist in ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).

  • Strong management accounting and business partnering experience.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Commercially minded with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
