Role details

A trusted national brand in the trade distribution and logistics industry is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in supporting operational and sales leaders, influencing key business decisions, and driving financial performance across the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with operational and sales leaders to challenge assumptions, support decision-making, and maximise opportunities while minimising risk.
  • Carry out comprehensive operational analysis to uncover cost-saving opportunities and ensure optimal allocation of resources throughout the organisation.
  • Lead monthly reviews of sales and margin performance, flagging key issues and working closely with the sales team to understand variances and drive improvements.
  • Monitor branch P&L performance closely, spotting trends or discrepancies early and recommending corrective actions where needed.
  • Prepare clear reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, ensuring complex financial information is accessible and actionable.
