Overview

Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with strong SAGE knowledge and a keen eye for detail? We are supporting a well-established organisation in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role supporting the Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the company’s financial operations. You will be joining a supportive team environment where your skills will be valued and further developed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager with credit control and financial reporting.
• Post and reconcile income accurately in the client management system.
• Process commission and fee reconciliations, resolving queries with colleagues as needed.
• Raise and issue client invoices, maintaining accurate filing and records.
• Support with month-end reconciliations, introducer updates, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable processes and maintain accurate ledger entries in SAGE.
• Provide accurate, timely financial support across both businesses.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounts role.
• Strong working knowledge of SAGE (essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
• Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
