Job Title: Field Sales Representative - Solar & Battery PV

Power IQ is one of Northern Ireland’s fastest-growing solar energy companies, delivering high-performance solar PV and battery storage systems to residential and commercial customers.

We pride ourselves on offering honest advice, quality installations, and excellent customer care. With demand for solar energy continuing to grow, we’re expanding our sales team with a Field Sales representative.

The Role

As a Field Sales Representative, your core responsibility will be to convert pre-qualified appointments into confirmed solar installations. You’ll work directly with homeowners who have already completed an initial screening, allowing you to focus on personalised system design, customer consultation, and closing the sale.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys consultative, solution-based selling and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Site Surveys
  • Attend on-site surveys with pre-qualified homeowners
  • Assess key factors including roof condition, orientation, shading, and energy usage
  • Identify any technical considerations that may affect system performance
Proposal & Design
  • Use industry-leading solar software to design tailored solar PV and battery systems
  • Clearly explain the benefits, performance, and ROI of each system
  • Guide customers through the decision-making process with clarity and confidence
  • Maintain accurate records of all proposals and outcomes in our bespoke CRM system
Closing the Sale
  • Close sales effectively and professionally.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive customer experience from first contact to sale confirmation
  • Represent the Power IQ brand with professionalism and integrity.
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, MCS, and RECC guidelines etc.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within the solar energy sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident with site visits and customer-facing roles
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Previous experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • A genuine interest in the renewable energy sector.
  • Full UK driving licence
