Start 2026 with purpose as a Female Waking Night Support Worker – Burghfield Common (RG7)

Location: Burghfield Common, RG7 (Just a 3-min drive from Willink Leisure Centre)
Pay: £12.35 per hour
Contract: Part-Time (30 hours per week)

We’re looking for Female Waking Night Support Workers to join our team in Burghfield Common, providing person‑centred care to six incredible individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, and complex needs.

What Will You Be Doing During the Night?
  • Ensuring Safety: Conduct regular checks to ensure residents’ well‑being throughout the night
  • Promoting Rest: Provide emotional reassurance to help maintain healthy sleeping patterns
  • Night Support: Assist with personal care needs during the night, including bathroom assistance and clothing changes
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of activities and any incidents
  • Medication Support: Administer medication as required (training provided)
Shift Patterns
  • Waking Nights: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotas provided in advance)
What We’re Looking For
  • Female applicant (Genuine Occupational Requirement applies)
  • Calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Comfortable with personal care and manual handling
  • Reliable and flexible with a strong team ethic
  • Driver with manual licence (essential for mobility vehicle use)
