14 hours per week - typically worked Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 13:00 - 16:30

(applicants must be 18+ due to prison-based working)

This is an exciting time for our organisation. As part of our growth plan and our continued retention of key contracts with Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) a new role has been created for a Family Engagement Worker to work at HMP Lincoln.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service and build sustaining relationships with service users/customers and other agencies.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Plan and organise activities, facilitating play/activities for children of different ages.
  • Use IT systems effectively.
  • Deliver regular themed family days and play interventions for children.
  • Interact positively with other agencies, being aware of risk and risk management, and collect evidence required for contract monitoring.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full, valid car licence and access to a vehicle including insurance for business use.
  • Will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with child barred list and prison vetting.
  • Knowledge and experience in safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and equality of opportunity.
