A leading law firm is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the office environment by processing mail, managing printing tasks, and assisting with various office duties. The role requires proven office experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A key cog to the Londonoffice, theteamensures we have a greatofficeenvironmenttoworkin and all thefacilitieswe need to be successful.You'llworkcloselywithourFacilitiesCo-ordinatorand our FacilitiesManager to provide crucialsupportto the wholeoffice.
TheFacilitiesAssistantrole requires someone who is resourceful and organised. Being a law firm we generate a lot of documents soyou'llbe required to dealwithpost room requests from our Lawyers andSupportstaff as well as external providers of postal and logistics services.You'llneed to be able toworkto deadlines and enjoyinteractingwithlots of different people.
Essentially the role will involve processing all mail (incoming and outgoing). You will also be responsible for dealing with large volumes of printing,photocopyingand scanning. There is some complex equipment – but don't worry we'll give you all the training you need.
You'llalso assist theteamwithgeneral duties involving the day to day running of theofficefromstationeryorders and maintenance requests through to running errands and health and safety issues.
On occasion you may be required to provide cover for the Receptionteam.
The role requires someonewithpreviousofficebased experience and knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.You'llneed to be able to multi-task but still maintain attention to detail.You'llbe amotivatedpro-activeteamplayerwithexcellentcommunicationskills.You'llhave a flexible approach and beconsistentlyhelpful.
You must also be able toworkon your owninitiativeand have theabilitytoworkto deadlines. We're looking forenthusiasticindividualswho love working as part of ateam;this is a really social roleinteractingwithlots of different people – this is where your great customer services skills come in.
