A specialist education recruitment agency is looking for an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream school in Coventry. This role involves providing support to a young pupil with autism on weekday mornings from 8:30 to 12:30. Candidates should have experience in early years settings and a calm, patient approach. The position offers long-term consistency and specialized support.
In early years, the right support at the right moment can change how a child experiences their day. In this EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be that person. This is a mornings only position at a mainstream school in Coventry, supporting a young pupil (3 years old) who is on the pathway for an autism diagnosis. If successful, you will work from 8:30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday.
This is a role for someone who notices the small things, whether it is how they respond to a new activity or what helps them stay calm when the room gets busy.
If you are looking to work as a Year 6 teacher in a mainstream classroom, providing day to day supply cover, we are probably not the agency for you. But if you are passionate about supporting students with additional needs and want a long term role where you can build consistency and see the impact of your work every day, that is exactly what we do.
If you are looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference, register your interest today.
