EYFS Teaching Assistant – Do you want hands-on EYFS experience before applying for teacher training? Could you deliver focused 1:1 and small-group support that helps children settle, learn, and thrive?
You’ll support high-quality early years provision alongside the class teacher. Expect to set up continuous provision, lead short, purposeful activities in early phonics and number, and provide 1:1 support for pupils who need extra help. You’ll model routines, encourage language and social skills, and keep brief observation notes to inform next steps.
You’re a graduate with clear communication, a warm, consistent approach, and genuine interest in early child development. You follow guidance, use initiative, and build positive relationships with young children and staff.
