Executive Assistant to High Net Worth Couple (HNWC)

£45,000 – £55,000 a year (dependent on experience) – Shifnal, Shropshire.

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is delighted to be searching for an Executive Assistant to support a high net worth couple that own a property management business, overseeing approximately 12,000 acres across the Shropshire and Staffordshire borders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Personal side (approx 30%)

  • Full assistance with personal appointments (medical, leisure, haircuts, etc.)
  • Organise travel arrangements and detailed itineraries for personal or family excursions and holidays
  • Manage household staff
  • Handle personal errands as required (laundry pick‑up, packing, etc.)
  • Maintain proactive insurance, renewal and subscription records
  • Create checklists and systems that support seamless personal life management

Commercial side (approx 70%)

  • Diary management: schedule appointments & meetings with customers, contractors, suppliers and other parties.
  • Plan meetings, events and logistics: book rooms, arrange travel, prepare agendas, collate notes and create action plans.
  • Email management: respond to ad‑hoc customer and partner emails on behalf of the family; engage customers and consultants to arrange appointments.
  • Project management: understand and proactively support progression of commercial and private projects.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings.
  • Finance support: prepare customer invoices and chase overdue invoices by phone and email; be point of contact for finance inquiries.
Ideal Candidate
  • High‑quality verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills – prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with (url removed) and Stripe is a bonus.
  • Discretion – maintain confidentiality handling sensitive information.
  • Relationship management – build relationships across the business, customers and external contacts; work autonomously and as part of a team.
