Qualifications

• Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment.
• Holder of Section 12 (2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983.
• Evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in psychiatry at time of application.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Attend Ward reviews as per schedule.
• Attend MDT meeting as per schedule.
• Carry out Ward review when the Consultant is away.
• Admitting patients during working hours.
• Attending to urgent clinical issues for patients.
• Dictate and check discharge summaries for patients.
• Administrative work related to these activities.
• Support Trainee Doctors.
• Work with Multidisciplinary team.
• Attend the weekly regular supervision with the consultant.
