We are seeking reliable and conscientious Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Sunderland during examination periods. This is a vital role ensuring that exams are conducted in line with awarding body regulations and school policies.

Responsibilities
  • Set up examination rooms in accordance with exam requirements
  • Supervise students during examinations to ensure a calm and orderly environment
  • Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
  • Ensure exam regulations are always followed
  • Respond appropriately to queries or incidents during exams
  • Assist with the start and end of examinations
Requirements
  • A professional, calm, and attentive approach
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and good timekeeping
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Additional Information
  • This role is seasonal and hours will vary depending on exam timetables
  • A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
