Salary : £70,000 – £85,000 + package

Senior Estimator – The Company

Our client is a well‑established regional main contractor with a strong reputation across the South of England. They deliver new build projects typically ranging from £3m to £30m, primarily within the Commercial and Education sectors. The business is financially stable, well run, and widely regarded as one of the stronger employers in the regional construction market, with a clear focus on quality, repeat work, and long‑term staff retention.

Senior Estimator – The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a busy pre‑construction team based from their Swindon office. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for producing detailed and competitive tenders across a range of new build projects, working closely with the wider pre‑construction, commercial, and delivery teams.

Depending on experience, the Senior Estimator may also support or mentor junior Estimators and contribute to bid strategy, value engineering, and risk analysis during the tender process.

Senior Estimator – The Person

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator with a regional or national main contractor
• Strong background in new build construction projects
• Experience pricing Commercial and / or Education sector tenders preferred
• Demonstrable experience estimating projects typically £8m+ in value
• Track record of contributing to successful, profitable tendersComfortable working as part of a pre‑construction team
• Able to commute to the Swindon area
