The Role

As a Window & Door Estimator, you will play a key role in the success of our projects by providing accurate quotations, technical advice, and costings for UPVC windows, doors, and associated products. You’ll work closely with our sales, design, and installation teams to ensure every project is delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations and tenders for UPVC windows, doors, and glazing projects
• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain accurate pricing and lead times
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, variations, and project costs
• Support the sales team with pre-contract advice and customer queries

About You

We’re looking for an estimator with strong technical knowledge of fenestration systems and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be confident working with drawings, figures, and customers alike.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an estimator in the fenestration, window or double glazing industry
• In-depth knowledge of UPVC windows, doors, and glazing systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Proficiency with estimating software, ideally First Degree Systems and Microsoft Office

Desirable

• Familiarity with UPVC window systems
• Experience of working in the commercial, social housing sector an advantage.
