This challenging and exciting Estimator opportunity requires an individual with a strong technical background and proven experience in producing estimates and tenders within the piling, foundations, or ground engineering sector. The role is primarily remote, working from home most of the week, with an option to commute to the Nottinghamshire office approximately once a week.

The Person

• Possess a degree or HNC in a related field, with UK work experience in a similar role
• Eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Knowledge of plant, equipment, and methods is advantageous
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and internal business systems
• Commercially astute with excellent communication skills
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Driven to succeed in winning tenders and bids
• Seeking feedback and committed to continuous improvement
• Maintain professionalism under pressure
• Develop tender strategies considering client, design, technical aspects, schedule, quality, and competition

Due to expansion and a strong pipeline of projects, our client seeks an experienced piling Estimator responsible for project pricing and scope review. The ideal candidate will review enquiry documents to identify key project considerations. They should possess ambition, enthusiasm, and a strong technical understanding of civil engineering, with excellent communication and IT skills. Experience across various ground engineering disciplines is preferred.
