A leading engineering company in Croydon seeks an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee a team of shift engineers. The role involves ensuring all engineering operations comply with statutory and safety requirements. Responsibilities include providing technical support, maintaining the Certified Persons Register, and ensuring high standards in planned preventative maintenance. Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to site-based Authorised Persons (APs).
• Lead, plan, and deliver agreed changes to drive continuous improvement.
• Assess, appoint, and manage all Authorised Persons, maintaining the Certified Persons Register.
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed to a high standard.
• Develop, implement, and maintain action plans following audits.
• Collaborate to produce a forward maintenance register and capital investment plan.
• Conduct regular assessments of site-based Authorised Persons.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all site logbooks.
• Participate in callout rota.
• Ensure the permit-to-work system is fully compliant.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a well-established team on a permanent basis at a large, prestigious site in Croydon. This role will involve overseeing a team of shift engineers while ensuring all engineering operations and processes are carried out in full compliance with statutory and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to site-based Authorised Persons (APs)
• Lead, plan, and deliver agreed changes to drive continuous improvement and enhance site performance
• Assess, appoint, and manage all Authorised Persons, maintaining the Certified Persons Register
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed to a high standard and that scopes of work are appropriate for the installed equipment
• Develop, implement, and maintain action plans following internal and external audits, including annual audits from Authorising Engineers, ensuring timely and accurate close-out
• Collaborate with site-based Authorised Persons to produce a forward maintenance register and capital investment plan to support proactive estate management
• Conduct regular assessments of site-based Authorised Persons, ensuring all training and appointments remain valid and up to date
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all site logbooks
• Participate in callout rota
