Overview
  • Fantastic opportunity exists for an employment solicitor to join this leading Shropshire firm who are rated in L500. You will have 3+ years PQE and be looking to work in a regarded and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
  • Provide advice on a variety of employment law issues, including advising both employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
  • Represent clients at tribunals and other employment-related hearings
  • Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date with the latest legislative changes
  • Contribute to business development and practice area growth initiatives
About you
  • Qualified solicitor 3+ PQE in employment law, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse client base
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Previous experience in delivering Employment Law training would be an advantage.
Day-to-Day
  • Advising clients via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings on employment law matters
  • Drafting legal documents including employment contracts, disciplinary and grievance policies, and settlement agreements
  • Preparing for and attending employment tribunals
  • Researching current employment law developments
  • Managing your own caseload efficiently while providing excellent client care
