Overview

Electrical Supervisor Job Description: We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a commercial project. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading on-site electrical teams, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard in line with project specifications and current regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical works
• Manage a team of electricians and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and current electrical regulations
• Liaise with site managers, project managers, and other trades
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Manage materials, site reports, and progress tracking
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• JIB Gold Card
• Ability to lead teams and manage workloads effectively
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and site procedures
• Right to work in the UK
