Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical construction works on a utility-scale BESS project in North West England. The successful candidate will supervise electrical contractors, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and oversee the installation of various electrical systems. This role requires proven experience in BESS or related power projects along with relevant qualifications. The position is site-based and expected to last for 8 months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical works on BESS, substations or power projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, RAMS and permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical contractors delivering BESS construction works.
• Oversee installation of HV/LV systems, transformers, PCS units, earthing and cabling.
• Ensure works are completed safely, to specification and in line with programme.
• Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks and permit management.
• Interface with the Site Manager, Project Engineer and commissioning teams.
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning and final handover.

Mint Selection is currently recruiting an Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical construction works on a utility‑scale BESS project in the North West of England, working on behalf of a market‑leading developer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical contractors delivering BESS construction works
• Oversee installation of HV/LV systems, transformers, PCS units, earthing and cabling
• Ensure works are completed safely, to specification and in line with programme
• Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks and permit management
• Interface with the Site Manager, Project Engineer and commissioning teams

Experience Required
