Job Title: Educational Psychologist

Ref: S Tyneside 5276438

Pay rate: £470.29 per day PAYE

Role length: Anticipated 9 months

DBS requirement: Enhanced DBS is required for this role

The role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Educational Psychologist to join a supportive and well-regarded team. This role focuses on carrying out and completing statutory face to face assessments, as part of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face assessments of children and young people as part of EHCP needs assessments
• Liaise effectively with relevant departments and professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely records in line with statutory guidance and service standards

What the client is looking for

• Relevant degree and training in Educational Psychology
• HCPC/ SWE registration
• Experience working within a Local Authority as an Educational Psychologist
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory responsibilities
• Excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills
