Job Title: Early Years Practitioner (Agency Staff)

Location: Various locations (e.g., nurseries, preschools, early years centres). Based on client requirements and candidate availability

Salary: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Flexible (Full-time, part-time, day-to-day, short-term or long-term placements available)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, inclusive, and stimulating care and learning opportunities for children.
  • Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and support children's developmental milestones.
  • Support children's emotional, physical, and social development.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times.
  • Set up and tidy away activities, resources, and learning environments.
  • Maintain accurate records and observations (where applicable).
  • Work collaboratively with permanent staff and follow each setting's policies and procedures.
  • Adapt quickly to different settings and routines.
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
Requirements

Essential:

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)
  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a professional setting
