Qualifications

• Must possess a life support qualification – Advanced Life Support.
• GMC Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine required.
• Evidence of clinical audit and/or quality improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy general ICU with 20 beds.
• Provide high-quality care to both medical and surgical patients.
• Utilize advanced equipment for echocardiography and training.

Skills

Independent clinical practice

Relevant specialty clinical knowledge

Up to date clinical knowledge

Education

MBBS / MBChB or equivalent

FICM or equivalent advanced training time in ICU

Postgraduate qualification relevant to partner specialty (e.g. FRCA, FRCEM)

Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
