Job description

Drop-in roles offer a great way to meet other local Trust volunteers and staff, learn new skills, hear about other volunteer opportunities, or just spend a few hours outdoors improving your local waterway environment.

We are hoping to build a team together to volunteer at Broadcut top and bottom lock's.

There are no formal skills required, and you have the chance to volunteer across many unique and beautiful environments.

What you will be doing

  1. One-off taster events including our Welcome Sessions
  2. Litter Picking
  3. Let’s activities on the water and on the towpath
  4. When you register as a volunteer, we will ask about any unspent convictions, which you need to declare, and we will conduct a risk assessment accordingly.

The skills you need

This role is specifically designed without requiring skills or training. By joining, you'll learn about other roles where training may be needed or provided to help build your skills. No formal skills are required.
