Overview

Domestic Abuse Specialist Practitioner, Birmingham. Pay rate to £30.57 per hour. Contract role.

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Domestic Abuse Specialist Practitioner to work in an Early Help team in Birmingham. This is a new role under National Reforms for Family Help. The Domestic Abuse Service is creating a multi-disciplinary team to work alongside social work and early help teams. There is a requirement for extensive experience of working in domestic abuse. There are 3 posts available to be located in the 3 Districts in East Birmingham. Staff will be required to case hold and provide direct work to families including the perpetrator in a safe way that does not increase the risk of harm to the non-abusive parent. Staff will be required in the first instance to joint work with social work cases providing specific support to families and deliver group work programmes.
