Job Description:

Do you have several years of experience designing and developing digital competition and subscription-based products?

About this Role

You will have full responsibility for the evolution of a new consumer-facing online competition product and a dedicated development team to deliver it.

About the Client

The company invented and holds a patent for mass interaction TV events. It currently runs the votes for Love Island, Britain’s Got Talent and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! As well as providing innovative competition platforms (with its joint venture Neon Cube) and interactive quiz shows.

The media industry has kindly recognised us for producing the world’s first truly interactive competition show, The Singer Takes It All on Channel 4. Over the years we have been honoured to receive a number of national and international awards, including 'Best Platform Innovation', 'Best App' and 'Best Multi-platform Project' by Broadcast Magazine; BAFTA's TV Craft Awards short-listing and winning IBC’s international innovation award.

About the Team:

You would be joining a new start-up team within the established business to launch a new consumer-facing online competition product. The team will consist of experts in different fields who will work together in a new team with the support of our development team, as well as those of our project sponsors. The team will act like a mini business in its own right.

About this role:

As the Product Manager, you will have full responsibility for the evolution of a new consumer-facing online competition product and a dedicated development team to deliver it.

You Will:

  • Develop new features that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Build the product roadmap to create an exceptional customer experience.
  • Focus on subscription business models.
  • Acquire an intimate knowledge of this market, understand competitor initiatives, and stay ahead of the game.
  • Have a strong focus on customer engagement and data-driven decision-making, supported by a dedicated CRM manager and data analyst.
  • Work with a dedicated technical development team to deliver your product initiatives.
  • Optimize the product for both short and long-term growth.
  • Report to the Business Manager on a day-to-day basis.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a background in developing website and app products and services.
  • Possesses strong UX instincts with the ability to create intuitive, engaging customer journeys and a good eye for design.
  • Has a data-driven mindset—comfortable using analytics and working with data analysts and CRM managers to inform product decisions.
  • Can 'talk tech' and translate complex development concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Is innovative and able to think independently.
  • Is comfortable working at pace and managing changing priorities.

It would be a bonus if you have experience in any of the following:

  • Competitions, digital games, gambling, subscription retail, retail fashion, FMCG, and brands.
  • Joining at the start of a new enterprise with a big product reaching tens of millions of customers.
  • Potential career growth within the company and investor partners.
  • Using your initiative and owning the product.
  • Working in a tight team with clear objectives.
  • Company pension or private pension contributions.
  • Hybrid working model, with initial in-office collaboration for 3 out of 5 days, moving to more flexibility.
  • Occasional business trips to Krakow and Rzeszow, Poland.
