Are you passionate about nutrition and making a difference in patient care? We’re looking for a dedicated Dietetic Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Barts Health NHS Trust.

In this vital role, you’ll support our dietitians in delivering high-quality nutritional care to both inpatients and outpatients. From conducting nutritional assessments to helping patients transition to home enteral feeding, you’ll play a key part in improving health outcomes and patient experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Assist in nutritional assessments and provide general dietary advice.
  • Support discharge planning for patients on enteral feeding.
  • Liaise with community services, catering teams, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage stock levels and contribute to departmental audits and projects.
  • Deliver patient education and support health promotion activities.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Someone with experience working with the public and a keen interest in healthcare.
  • Strong communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic patient records.
  • A team player who’s flexible, empathetic, and able to work independently.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are essential.
