A leading mental health service provider in Manchester is looking for a part-time Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to support care delivery in nutrition and dietetics. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide dietary interventions and assistance to service users experiencing mental health conditions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (18.75 hours) Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive Nutrition and Dietetic Service on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave (9 months).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will play a key role in supporting the delivery and development of our Nutrition and Dietetic service.
A diverse caseload to help you develop skills and knowledge in areas such as weight management, diabetes, 1:1 consultation, group work, and nutrition support under the supervision of a registered Dietitian.
Opportunities to promote and support nutritional screening on the wards, liaise with catering services, and contribute to updating and developing resources.
Regular management, clinical, and peer supervision, with strong encouragement for professional growth and development.
Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
