Job summary

A well-established farming enterprise based in Belfast seeks a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Trade tested Red Seal Diesel Mechanic qualification and at least 5 years of experience working on agricultural equipment. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of various machinery, ensuring all work is documented accurately. This is a full-time position requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and mechanical machinery operation.
• Experience with Volvo trucks, tractors, and other heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and agricultural equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Belfast / Carolina Area Mpumalanga: A well-established farming concern is looking to add a Diesel mechanic to their team.

Minimum Requirements

• Trade tested Red Seal Diesel Mechanic.
• At least 5 years experience
• Sound knowledge of Agricultural Equipment and on mechanical machinery operation and maintenance
• Experience with Volvo trucks, Bakkies, Tractors, Bale machines, Loaders, TLB & Bobcats
• Must have a high level of energy with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
• Strong record keeping skills
• Strong management and communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Valid drivers license
