Aspire People are looking for a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher in Derby!

Design and Technology Teacher - Derby
Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum - including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and/or Graphics. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing practical skills, creativity, and critical thinking in students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum (Product Design, Resistant Materials, and/or Graphics).
  • Develop practical skills, creativity, and critical thinking in students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Specialism in Design and Technology (Product Design, Engineering, or similar)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Passion for innovation and creativity in education
