Overview

Design Wing Integrator - Broughton

Location: Broughton (onsite requirement)

Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Pay Rate: £38-£46/hr (Design Engineer), £44-£52/hr (Design Approver) Umbrella

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

IR35 Status: Inside

About The Role

Are you a passionate design engineer with a knack for integration and a drive to make a real impact? Join our Wing Plant Engineering Team as a Design Wing Integrator, where you\'ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Build Support and Non-Conformance teams. You\'ll be the vital link between engineering and operations, ensuring that design solutions are not only technically sound but also practical for our industrial systems and customers.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead and Deliver Projects: Take ownership of projects and activities, ensuring solutions are delivered right first time, on time, and to the highest standards.
  • Bridge Engineering and Operations: Collaborate across teams to co-design solutions that work for both engineering and operational needs.
  • Drive Product Improvement: Identify and implement modifications to reduce costs and non-conformances, enhancing product quality throughout the value stream.
  • Enhance Team Efficiency: Support or lead initiatives to improve team effectiveness, applying new methods, tools, and processes (including sustainability goals).
  • Manage Stakeholders: Prioritise engineering responses to operational issues and manage suppliers to achieve key deliverables.
  • Champion Change: Embrace new challenges, bring fresh ideas, and help shape the future of our business.
