Overview

Locum Deputy Team Manager (Social Work) - Access & Review Team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. £40 hourly for an initial three-month duration with potential for a full-time schedule. Initially office-based for two weeks, with the option to work up to two days from home thereafter depending on service needs. Focus on supporting the Access (front door) and Older People Review Team and delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management support to the Access and Older People Review Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and work distribution within the team, ensuring all cases are managed effectively.
  • Facilitate team meetings, offering guidance and support to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to ensure seamless service delivery across all teams.
  • Review and audit cases to maintain standards and improve service quality continually.
  • Liaise with external agencies and service users to promote best practice and coordinate resources.
