Overview

Are you interested in respiratory nursing? We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and well-motivated Deputy Sister/Charge nurse to join Shotley Ward. You will work as a senior member of the multi-professional team, undertaking patient assessment to determine clinical need, plan and implement patient care, and discharge with the aim of meeting the needs of both the patient and their family.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and teaching within the Unit environment under the guidance of the Ward Sister.
• Provide support and supervision of nursing staff, and effectively coordinate and deploy resources within the Unit.
• Undertake patient assessment, plan and implement patient care, and discharge planning to meet patient and family needs.
• Support and influence the careers of others within the team.
