Overview

Deputy Manager (Nursing) – £50,000 per annum · Hadleigh, Suffolk. Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a National Private Healthcare Provider, for a Nursing Home based in the Hadleigh area of Suffolk.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing operations within the home to reach or exceed goals while assuring the provision of high-quality care.
  • Oversee the care staff and assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present.
Qualifications
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide high-quality care services.
  • Ability to identify referral pathways for safeguarding adults/abuse.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staff.
  • Ability to promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
