Job description

Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Data Protection and Information Management Coordinator

We're seeking an approachable, confident, and resilient professional to join our Data Protection team. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues and independently using your initiative to champion data protection awareness and help deliver robust Data Protection and Information Management practices across the Karbon Group.

The Data Protection team is information-focused but places the Group's stakeholders at its core. We strive to provide requested information efficiently, manage data breaches with integrity, and deliver expert guidance on all aspects of Data Protection and Information Management whenever needed.

About the role

Working closely with fellow Coordinators and under the guidance of the Senior Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality Data Protection and Information Management service across the Group, ensuring exceptional support for all stakeholders.

No two days are the same in Data Protection. It's a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and unexpected challenges that will keep you engaged and motivated.

On any given day, you could be juggling multiple priorities—responding to information requests, managing data breaches with integrity, and providing expert advice on Data Protection queries—all while ensuring compliance and championing best practice.

About you
  • Experienced in working with data/information or in a Data Protection/Information Management role.
  • Skilled at managing confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • A strong team player who collaborates effectively and supports others.
  • Educated to at least GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Able to work independently, use sound judgement, and take ownership of tasks.
  • Highly attentive to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Professional and impartial when investigating situations, applying fairness and transparency.
  • Capable of managing risks and making balanced decisions.
  • Possesses good written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates resilience under pressure and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Transparent, open, and trustworthy, building strong relationships.
Working with us

You'll join our Data Protection team, overseen by the Senior Data Protection Business Partner, Jill Johnson, and managed by the Senior Data Protection and Information Management Coordinator, Julia Dunn.

For further information about the role, please contact Jill Johnson or Julia Dunn via Microsoft Teams or email: data.protection@karbonhomes.co.uk
