Customer Service Advisor

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday – 9 am to 5 pm)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. If you enjoy problem-solving and building strong customer relationships, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online systems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide clear information on products, services, and orders.
  • Log, track, and resolve issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with customer information.
Key Skills
  • Experience in a customer service or administration role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Confident in using MS Office and customer management systems.
  • Positive, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure.
