Overview

B&Q – Customer Advisor

Location: Newhaven, East Sussex
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Type: Permanent
Hours: Part-time (15 hours per week)

Shifts available Monday – Sunday, 6.00am – 10.00pm. This is a permanent part-time role at B&Q Newhaven (East Sussex). We believe anyone can improve their home to make life better. Every day, we give our millions of customers the ideas, advice, tools and confidence they need to create a home they\'ll love. Join us as a Customer Advisor and you\'ll be a big part of this.

What\'s the job?

Join our team as an expert advisor and guide. You\'ll get to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, as will managing stock, setting up displays, and ensuring the store looks great. You may be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

What we need

We\'re looking for someone who is happy to help, eager to learn and a little bit obsessed with home improvement. You should be friendly and outgoing, enjoy helping others, and comfortable using new technology and ways of working. You\'ll work well in a team and be flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
