Overview

Are you passionate about supporting people in the criminal justice system and driving positive change in community treatment pathways?

The Role

Would you like to work in an established Via service making a difference in the community and help people to achieve sustained recovery?

You will be responsible for supporting the wider leadership team within Greenwich and further develop the current Criminal Justice System (CJS) pathways. Key focuses will be on prison releases to community treatment and improving partnership working with Mental Health and Learning Disability services. You will be an important part of the management team, and this is a significant opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives on achieving results.

You’ll be based within the core service, working closely alongside the Harm Reduction Senior Practitioner, increasing capacity within the service. This role carries a caseload of CJS complex cases thereby further increasing capacity for those with complex needs to engage and remain engaged in treatment.

The successful applicant will line manage a team delivering Outreach and Criminal Justice interventions.

The Service

Via Greenwich is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions from a main treatment hub in Greenwich and from a range of satellite services in the borough. The team actively promotes recovery and work with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Greenwich residents, irrespective of circumstance.

This service is an established Community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning, it is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox alongside a comprehensive psychosocial and recovery focussed model.

Location: Via Greenwich is based at 821 Woolwich Road, London, SE7 8LG.
